iWIN and the Taiwan Anti-Violence Alliance Partner with SWAG to Host Digital Sexual Violence Workshop

SWAG partnered with iWIN and the Taiwan Anti-Violence Allianceto co-host the “Summer Sexual Literacy” Digital Sexual Violence Education Workshop on September 3, inviting parents to join an in-person session focused on strengthening awareness and prevention of digital sexual violence.

The workshop addressed three key areas: how parents can communicate with children about sensitive topics, how to recognize warning signs that a child may be at risk, and how to respond effectively when incidents occur. Through practical guidance and expert insights, the event aimed to improve parents’ preparedness and reduce the likelihood of children becoming victims of image-based abuse and online exploitation.

SWAG stated that it hopes to bring digital safety and prevention awareness into families’ everyday conversations, and that through collaboration with iWIN and the Taiwan Anti-Violence Alliance, the initiative aims to help parents feel more confident when addressing these issues and contribute to a safer digital environment for the next generation.

Speakers shared real-world cases to help parents learn how to talk with children about sexual education and how to respond effectively if incidents occur.
