CEO in the House: SWAG’s Sam Talks Livestreaming Industry with NYCU Students

SWAG CEO Sam was recently invited to the Department of Communication and Technology at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) to engage in an in-depth discussion with students from the course Media, Culture, and Society. Under the theme “The Adult Livestreaming Platform Industry and Operations,” Sam shared insights into market trends in adult entertainment, business strategies, and the rapid evolution of the livestreaming economy.

During the session, Sam opened with a humorous and engaging style that quickly connected with the students, creating an energetic atmosphere with frequent interaction. He provided a deep dive into the business model of adult livestreaming platforms, content governance mechanisms, and how digital technologies continue to drive industry growth—helping students better understand how this market operates from a different perspective.

To encourage greater participation, the lecture also featured a Slido interactive segment, allowing students to ask questions anonymously and actively join the discussion. Questions ranged from “At what age did you first encounter adult content?” to “What types of livestreams do you enjoy watching?” With no restrictions on topics, the conversation remained lighthearted yet highly informative.

Sam responded candidly to a wide range of questions, emphasizing that the adult entertainment industry is not simply a competition for traffic—it also involves content operations, technological innovation, and clear market positioning. The open and thoughtful dialogue not only broadened students’ perspectives, but also sparked greater curiosity about the future direction of the industry.

Beyond industry insights, Sam introduced SWAG’s company culture, career opportunities, and employee benefits, and shared how the platform combines technology and entertainment to build an innovative ecosystem. Notably, after the lecture, more than half of the students expressed strong interest in SWAG’s business model and said they would welcome the opportunity to join the company—highlighting a shift in how younger generations view adult entertainment and imagine related career paths.

After the event, many students shared feedback with their professor, saying, “Sam is an incredibly charismatic CEO. His sharp insight into industry trends makes it clear that he’s not only a manager, but also an entrepreneur driving market change.”

SWAG remains committed to improving industry transparency and actively engaging in academic dialogue, encouraging younger generations to view this market rationally and professionally. More than an adult livestreaming platform, SWAG is also a software technology company—leveraging digital innovation and continuous business model optimization to build a global entertainment ecosystem.

This exchange with NYCU marks another important step in SWAG’s ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue between industry and academia. Looking ahead, SWAG will continue partnering with universities and departments to create more learning opportunities, helping students explore the diverse landscape of the digital content industry through an industry perspective.
