Junior Frontend Engineer

What You’ll Do

Develop new features and fix bugs independently based on product requirements
Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Designers
Improve product performance and stability
Participate in internal code reviews to ensure code quality

What We’re Looking For

Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Redu
Strong knowledge in at least three of the technologies listed above
- Server-side render: react-router, express server, NextJS App router
- Performance: critical rendering path, event loop, interaction to next paint (INP), intersection observer
- Persist: Cookie, localStorage, IndexedDB
- Cache: CDN cache, server side fetch cache, redis, cache-control header, service worker fetch cache
- WebApp：PWA, service worker, push notification, i18n
- SEO：og headers, canonical headers, ld+json, sitemap/robot.txt

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional tools and technologies, such as webpack, socket.io, tween.js, PixiJS, Apple Pay / Google Pay / Samsung Pay, and WebAssembly (WASM)
Experience with video players and streaming technologies, including video.js, DASH.js, shaka-player, bitmovin, and similar tools
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions / workflows, Docker, pm2, or related tools
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong curiosity for learning new technologies and a willingness to share knowledge with the team

Salary

NTD 1,000,000 – 1,200,000 per year
