SWAG Live is a global media and entertainment company delivering premium adult streaming content on web and app platforms.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Application team. You will work closely with the Product and Client teams to develop and maintain backend features that support millions of requests per minute.

The role involves designing scalable and stable systems, implementing new features, and optimizing performance. We value clean, maintainable code and reusable components built with a simple and practical approach.

Responsibilities

Hands-on Development: Communicate with relevant stakeholders and develop high-concurrency application features.
Optimization & Debugging: Optimize code for performance/cost and debug complex issues in a timely fashion.
Technical Gatekeeping: Oversee the technical output of our external development partners through rigorous code reviews to ensure features are delivered up to spec and maintain high code quality.

Must Have

3+ year of experience of API server development.
Good familiarity with Python.
Good knowledge and skills in HTTP/RESTful/TLS/Websockets/Caching/MongoDB/Distributed Systems/Containerization.
Ability to provide clear, actionable, and constructive technical feedback.
Capable of conducting technical discussions and providing feedback to international partners.
Good communication skills.
Good problem solving skills and mindset through logical thinking.
Good responsibility mindset. We appreciate engineers that are proud of their own work and own up to it.
Good motivation to learn and improve.

Salary Range

NTD 1,250,000 – 2,000,000 per year
